POEM

De ke dil ham jo ho gaye majbuur,
Iss mein kyaa ikhtiyaar hai apna
Be-khudii le gayi kahaan ham ko,
Deir se intezaar hai apna,
Rote phirte hain saari-saari raat,
Ab yahi rozgaar hai apanaa,
De ke dil ham jo ho gaye majbuur,
Iss mein kyaa ikhtiyaar hai apna
Kuchh nahi ham misaal-e-anqaa lek,
Shehar-shehar ishtehaar hai apna,
Jis ko tum aasmaan kehte ho,
So dilon kaa Gubaar hai apna,

POEM

Sadd gya jeendaa hee tere ishq dee agni ch main,
Mil gya jis nu sahaara dost tere shehar chon,
Turr kivein janda vechara dost tere shehar chon,
Apne dilbar da ghar barbaad hoya vekh ke,
Tur gya ro ro nakara dost tere shehar chon,
Zindgi thodi see lekin lutaf changa de gayi,
Lai liya rajj ke nazaara dost tere shehar chon,
Mastiyan ch beet jaavegi meri hun zindgi,
Mil gya aisaa hulara dost tere shehar chon,
Sahmbh ke jis nu main rakhda san oh dil vee lutt liya,
Tur gya kar ke kinara dost tere shehar chon,
Sadd gya jeendaa hee tere ishq dee agni ch main,
Udd gya bann ke sharara dost tere shehar chon,
Maut laini vee nahi saukhi sifaarish ton binaa,
Zehar na miliya udhara dost tere shehar chon,
Zra sambhaal ke rakhiyo, hai sheeshe vaang dil mera,
Udon kee karan eh aashiq jadon mehboob har vaari,
Nazar de sahmne aave magar parda gira baithe,
Zra sambhaal ke rakhiyo, hai sheeshe vaang dil mera,
Eh dig ke tutt jaana,je tussin hathon gira baithe,
Mohabbat vaaliyan te eh zamaana reham nahi karda,
Zamaane ton hazaaran zakham, dil vaale kra baithe,
Sureelee taan iss chon, kiss taran hove bhla paida,
Tussin eh saaz hee apna ho lai ke besura baithe,
Kade hamdard tun dil vaaliyan dee ho nahi sakdi,
khuda jaane, assin itbaar kiddan, kar tera baithe,

POEM

Neend aaye bhi to ab khwaab kahan aate hain,
Tu bata a dil-e- betaab, kahan aate hain,
Humko khush rehne ke aadaab kahan aate hain,
Main to yakmusht usse saunp doon sab-kuch lekin,
Ek muthi mein mere khwaab kahan aate hain,
Muddaton baad tujhe dekh ke dil bhar aaya,
Warna sehraon mein selaab kahan aate hain,
Meri bedaar nigahon mein agar bhuule se,
Neend aaye bhi to ab khwaab kahan aate hain,
Shiddat-e-dard hai ya kasrat-e-mai- noshi hai,
Hosh mein ab tere betaab kahan aate hain,
Hum kisi tarah tere dar pe thikana kar lein,
Hum faqiron ko ye aadaab kahan aate hain,
Sar-basar jin mein faqat teri jhalak milti thi,
Ab muyassar hamein woh khwaab kahan aate hain,

"Being big or small isn't the crucial issue. If you don't move, you don't move."
Steve Ballmer

"A hero is no braver than an ordinary man, but he is braver five minutes longer."
 Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Every decision you make - every decision - is not a decision about what to do. It's a decision about Who You Are. When you see this, when you understand it, everything changes. You begin to see life in a new way. All events, occurrences, and situations turn into opportunities to do what you came here to do."
 Neale Donald Walsch

"Opportunities are like sunrises - if you wait too long, you miss them."
 William Arthur Ward

Finish each day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

SMS FOR U ALL

There was a Nebraska farmer who grew award-winning corn. Each year he entered his corn in the state fair where it won a blue ribbon.
One year a newspaper reporter interviewed him and learned something interesting about how he grew it. The reporter discovered that the farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbors.
"How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors when they are entering corn in competition with yours each year?" the reporter asked.
"Why sir," said the farmer, "didn't you know? The wind picks up pollen from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbors grow inferior corn, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my corn. If I am to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors grow good corn."
He is very much aware of the connectedness of life. His corn cannot improve unless his neighbor's corn also improves.
So it is in other dimensions. Those who choose to be at peace must help their neighbors to be at peace. Those who choose to live well must help others to live well, for the value of a life is measured by the lives it touches. And those who choose to be happy must help others to find happiness for the welfare of each is bound up with the welfare of all.
Moral : If we want to be happy, we should help us neighbour be happy.
